From April 7 to 14, the scientific journalist and documentary filmmaker will visit six Dante Alighieri Society Committees, retracing the Polarquest2018 expedition, which she conceived and directed to mark the 90th anniversary of General Umberto Nobile’s polar mission. The tour will stop in Stavanger (April 7), Trondheim (April 8), Bergen (April 9), Kristiansand (April 10), Halden (April 11), and Oslo (April 14).

With the Norway tour approaching, Polarquest2018 continues to spark interest in Arctic exploration and climate research. Through film screenings, previously unpublished images, and discussions about her book, Catapano will share insights into the challenges of scientific expeditions in extreme environments.
