University Talk

Presentation of Polarquest21 expedition, with focus on arctic exploration and the impact of climate change.

 

At 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, September 16, 2021, at the CCI amphitheater in Tarbes, scientists from the Polarquest Association will host a talk for students. They will unveil the first results of their recent scientific mission to the Arctic and will discuss with students the impact of human activities on our environment.

À 14h30, ce jeudi 16 septembre 2021,  à l’amphithéâtre de la CCI à Tarbes (Centre Kennedy, 1 rue des Evadés de France, 65003 TARBES), se tiendra pour les étudiants une conférence de deux scientifiques de la mission Polarquest en Arctique, qui dévoileront les premiers résultats de leur mission scientifique en juillet dernier en Arctique et échangeront avec les étudiants concernant l’impact des activités humaines sur notre environnement.

Polarquest team members Paola Catapano, Mike Struik and Kevin Monneron will be in attendance.
